This is the day Meagan Rico made it official: filing to run at the Secretary of State's office, with the family that raised her, and the two boys she is raising now.

Meagan Rico is a nurse, a public health educator for Saline County, and a mom of twin boys, born and raised in Salina. Caregiving is the family trade. Her mom is a nurse, and Meagan followed her into it.

She is running for Kansas House District 69 for the people in this photo, and for every family in this county like them. Because the ones who live here should be the ones who shape what comes next.
